There Is No Night Without A Dawning Poem Verses

No winter without a spring
And beyond the dark horizon
Our hearts will once more sing ….
For those who leave us for a while
Have only gone away
Out of a restless, care worn world
Into a brighter day

About the poem

The poem speaks about the cyclical nature of life and how it is inevitable that loved ones will leave us, but also reminds us that they have only gone away to a brighter world. It encourages us to look forward to that brighter day and to find comfort in the fact that those who have passed away have only gone away from a difficult world and onto a better one. The poem also suggests that after the darkness of winter, spring always returns, which can be seen as a metaphor for the idea that even after loss, new life and hope can be found.

The Structure of Poem

The poem is structured in four lines stanzas, and the rhyme scheme follows an ABAB pattern. The first three lines of each stanza convey the idea that there is hope beyond the difficult times and that things will get better. The last line of each stanza suggests that the person who has passed away is now in a better place and is free from pain and suffering. The poem also uses imagery of the changing seasons to symbolize the cycle of life and death.
