Sentiments Of Grief Poem Verses
Only in loss,
do we understand value.
Tears are the words,
we cannot speak,
of the pain and shock of what has
happened and the loss of whatever will.
Our mourning is our love,
unable to reach you.
We miss the future,
you were supposed to have.
Our grief changes over time,
but never will it end.

This poem reflects on the experience of loss and grief. The first stanza emphasizes the idea that we often only realize the value of something or someone after it's gone, and the second stanza speaks to the deep emotions and sadness that come with loss. The poem suggests that tears are a way of expressing the pain and shock of what has happened, and that mourning is a form of love that cannot reach the person who has been lost. The third stanza acknowledges the future that was lost with the person, and the final stanza recognizes that grief is an ongoing process that changes over time but never truly ends. Overall, the poem expresses the universal human experience of grappling with the pain of loss and coming to terms with the reality of death.
The poem consists of five lines, each short and impactful. The language used is simple and direct, with a focus on conveying the emotional weight of loss and grief. The poem uses imagery of tears and mourning to convey the depth of pain experienced in the aftermath of a loss. The structure is open and free-form, with each line standing alone to emphasize the importance and meaning behind each thought. The poem ends with the realization that grief is a part of love and that it will never fully dissipate.
